"Lester paints a dangerous and dark world, with a bitter realness on every page.  If you're craving a fun escape, one that'll make you wonder how much is real and how much is I-really-hope-it's-not real, then this is your read."

"Kent Lester's The Seventh Sun is a blockbuster in print.  Lester takes the best of Clive Cussler and Michael Crichton to carve out his own unique genre, one that left me breathless with awe.  Here is story told with exacting detail, with a ripped-from-the-headlines authenticity and immediacy, all wrapped in an exciting adventure that travels the globe at breakneck speeds.  This novel marks the debut of a stunning new talent.  I can't wait to see what this author writes next!"

--James Rollins, New York Times bestseller of The Eye of God

As for The Seventh Sun, these chapters seriously piqued my interest. The characters are real, the science is convincing and disturbing, and the pacing is excellent. I really liked the ominous, looming sense of disaster.  Dan Clifford, the expert in scientific prediction, could be a great series character. I think you have a winner.  Please feel free to use my comments when your agent submits the book.

Kent Lester's The Seventh Sun races from one climax to another with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.  Evoking the best of Michael Crichton, Lester has fashioned a cautionary, prescient yarn that challenges us with facts splendidly woven into a fictional landscape.  Simply stated, the best end-of-the-world thriller since Lucifer's Hammer and The Stand.

--The Complete Guide to Contracting Your Home, 5th Edition

"The Complete Guide to Contracting Your Home is the ultimate guidebook for do-it-yourselfers. The outline style keeps it moving at a fast pace so it doesn’t get bogged down with boring details, yet the text is so complete it answers most of the reader’s questions. On my scale of 1 to 10, this rates a solid 10.

--Robert J. Bruss, Chicago Tribune

A workbook in the fullest sense, The Complete Guide to Contracting Your Home goes well beyond the crash courses in home building and words of encouragement of similar books.  An exhaustive work, recommended for public libraries serving knowledgeable amateur builders.
